Urban Themed Maternity Photo Shoot
I have been thinking about shooting an urban themed maternity session for a while now. I thought there must be a lot of expectant mums who would cherish something a bit more modern. Some portraits which would look great in black and white. Ones you can actually frame and hang in any room around your home.
I decided The Barbican would be the ideal place for an urban maternity shoot. With its strong lines, I could envisage them complementing the curves of a pregnant belly. I couldn’t have been proven more right if I tried. I love these portraits and cannot imagine them ever going out of fashion or looking dated.
I am delighted to offer these sessions as either part studio, part outdoor pregnancy package. Or on their own.
It took me just under an hour to capture these portraits and I couldn’t get back to my office quickly enough to upload and view them. So many fabulous images and what a great couple too!
Here are few more locations which I think might appeal to you for your maternity photography session –
- Around Tate Modern, The Millennium Bridge with St. Paul’s Cathedral in the background would be fabulous for maternity shots.
- Canary Wharf – I have shot around there in the past and it’s a fab location.
- Southbank around The National Film Theatre.
- Brick Lane and around Spitalfields market.
- Leake Street graffiti art tunnel.

Meantime, no standing still for me – I am currently adding extra features to my studio. This can only mean more diverse and beautiful portraits of your pregnant shape. I am really looking forward to sharing the results from these soon.
Come with open mind and leave with unique images.
